The Electric Cargo Bike has all the features of the non-electric Salamander such as instant conversion to stroller mode, easy access to public transit with your stroller, folds up to fit into the back of an SUV, and stores in tight places. Conversion between bicycle and stroller is absolutely as easy as it looks on the videos, and only takes about 10 minutes to get the hang of it! Once you have mastered the conversion sequence it only takes less than 10 seconds to execute The bicycle frame is baked enamel high gloss black paint on tig welded Chromoly steel. The carrier base is ABS plastic with an adjustment for two seat heights. All bicycle parts are standard and can be serviced locally. The seating provided can easily be removed and a car seat may be strapped to the floor of the pod. In this case, the pod will only carry one child. Assembly is quick and requires the insertion of the seat post, unfolding the canopy and handlebars, and bolting to front wheel on. It takes about 20 minutes.
